Calcium Hardness Calculator
Definition: Calcium hardness is the portion of total water hardness caused by dissolved calcium ions. It is commonly expressed as mg/L as CaCO₃.
Calcium Hardness (mg/L as CaCO₃) =
(A × M × 100,086.9) / V
Where A is the EDTA volume used in mL, M is the molarity of EDTA in mol/L, and V is the sample volume in mL.
Method basis: Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, calcium determination by EDTA titrimetric method.
