Brick Calculator
This brick calculator estimates the number of bricks and the quantities of mortar, cement and sand required for brickwork. Enter the wall dimensions, wall thickness and brick size to calculate the material requirements. Door and window openings can also be deducted from the wall area. The Advanced option allows custom brick dimensions and different cement-sand mortar mixes.
How the Brick Calculator Works
The calculator first determines the net wall area after deducting any specified door and window openings. The wall volume is then calculated using the selected wall thickness and used to estimate the number of bricks required. Mortar requirements are calculated from the brickwork volume and selected brick dimensions. The selected cement-sand mortar mix is then used to estimate cement and sand quantities.
