Plaster volume is calculated from wall area and selected plaster thickness. For plastering on both sides, the wall area is doubled.

The calculator converts wet plaster volume to dry mortar volume using a factor of 1.33 and applies a 20% material allowance. Cement and sand are then estimated according to the selected mix ratio.

Cement is calculated using an assumed bulk density of 1,440 kg/m³ and a 50 kg bag size. Results are estimates; actual consumption varies with surface condition, workmanship, thickness variation and site wastage.
